Milano Design Week – Fuorisalone 2026 – 5/6
Of the countless fashion houses that participated in the Milan Design Week, we are the first to present the work of the pyrotechnic Alessandro Enriquez who transposes all his humor, sympathy and empathy into the drawn messages on paper and boxes. Antonio Marras ranges from shoes to restaurants and everywhere he imprints his artistic aesthetic which he reinvents with love for the past in everything today, in Armani Casa we find the refinement we all know in the new creations for a home of the most refined style also celebrated in the exhibition inside the Pinacoteca di Brera which is located inside the Academy of Fine Arts in whose courtyard the very colourful installation entitled “Serotin – the chemistry of happyness” by Sara Ricciardi interacts with the severe architecture of the building instead, in the Botanical Garden behind the same building, another installation designed by Annabel Karim Kassar with Rubner Haus for ABS Group, entitled “Garden of Hesperides”, is located. It includes a portico that accompanies the sundial and illustrates the legend of the garden of the golden apples; in the same garden, Davidson Creative Team for Irritec has installed “L’Armonia é qui,” a tribute to the fairy-tale garden where technology and materials integrate with the surrounding environment, promoting a sustainable vision that combines environmental respect and aesthetics.
In the Brera district a collective of French designers exhibit their creations on a catwalk which not by chance defines the event with the title “Le Design defile” with the remarkable projects and productions including the sofa by Annie Hiéronimus pour Ligne Roset, the Lounge chair by Corpus Studio for Mono Editions, the sculpture table by Diego Alto for Mercour edition, the Endless Summer II Bench designed by Elliot Barnes for Maison Fey, the Tipi Bide coffee table designed by Fournier+Endrizzi for Objecto, the Scarf Lounge chair by Franck Genser, the Transaswing Deckcair by Lefuma Mobilier, the Paulistano Mesh Chair by Paulo Mendes de Rocha for Objects, the remarkable Matera Lounge Chair designed by Sébastien Kieffer for Mercoeur Edition, the fun and multipurpose Anna Chair by Studio Fritsch+Durisotti for Résistub Productions, and the Bepop Table designed by Tristan Lohner for Fermob in its two sizes and colors.

“When apricots blossom” is the floral character of Uzbek artisan production is exhibited at Palazzo Citterio and has aroused general interest to the point of having kilometre-long queues of people patiently waiting. Tacchini has invaded an apartment in Brera, showcasing its production with color variations inspired by nature. One of the first places to host the Fuorisalone, Superstudio 13, has doubled in size with a further new location: Superstudio Maxi, bringing together, among others, Vimar which gave at 43 designers the interpretation of the human face in the electric wall switch, we also find the immense range of laminates offered by Abet; the conceptual table designed by Alberto Alessi where the text “The Mad Supplier: Examining Origins to Build the Future” surrounds a selection of Alessi objects. A series of creations designed by Leonardo Talarico and the “Balancing Boxes” by Porro. In the rooms located under the platforms of the Central Station, Drop City has found its place, a very interesting exhibition where ecology and technology intertwine in very interesting, original and creative projects among the sections we highlight: 25kg_Thing04, Biolab, Creato SDU, IlVespaio, Material Future, Material Library, Ordinary Beauty. At the historic headquarters of Superstudio Più, Satoshi Kan exhibited the models for Indigo of the FRAME line seats where the structure captures the light and thus creates architectural shadows, thus bringing together the opposites of stability and suspension. Also there, Lexus, in addition to presenting two prototypes of cars of the future, shared with us its ergonomic studies for driver well-being; Moooi presented, in addition to its iconic products, new lighting elements and other pieces of furniture with the incredible spirit that characterizes its production where surrealism, irony and creativity merge, Yves Béhar personally showed us the almost infinite compositional and transformation possibilities of his Peak Sofa. We reserve the last images for two interventions by an anonymous extemporaneous RADICAL DESIGN which revise the aesthetics and colors of the street as well as, through the reuse of waste pieces, give an ironic wink to the big brands.
