Matt Rota est un illustrateur reconnu basé à New York. Il enseigne à l’École des Arts Visuels et au Maryland Institute College of Art. Il est illustrateur pour le New York Times, LA Weekly, russe Esquire, Philadelphie hebdomadaire, Le Columbia Journalism Review, Nouvelles de la Science, Documents Ninja Tune, Time Out Chicago, le magazine Ville, et bien d’autres publications. Ses dessins et gravures sont exposées dans de nombreuses galeries à New York, Hollywood, Baltimore, Philadelphie, dans le Maine, à Toronto et San Salvador. Il a reçu de nombreux prix et récompenses de la Society of Illustrators, de l’American Illustration, de Communication Arts Magazine, 3×3, trimestriel Creative, et Lurzer du Int’l Archive.
